Tensor G6: A Smaller Jump Than Hoped

Every model in the lineup is expected to run on the new Tensor G6, Google's first chip built on TSMC's 2nm process — a genuine manufacturing milestone that would put Tensor ahead of Apple's next chip to market on that node. Early Geekbench listings, however, have tempered expectations: leaked benchmarks show single-core and multi-core scores not meaningfully ahead of the outgoing Tensor G5, despite the process shrink. Pixel Glow: Google's Answer to Glyph
