Tecno is a Transsion Holdings brand — sister to Infinix and Itel — that built its reputation in Africa with cameras tuned for darker skin tones, and has since expanded into foldables and gaming phones while keeping its budget and mid-range roots. Tecno doesn't have a China retail presence at all; its home turf is Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, with growing but limited reach elsewhere.
